Cintia Elnestar

Born and raised in Argentina, Cintia Elenstar is a global sustainability strategist who truly believes in the power of education to transform lives. Before coming to the U.S. Cintia traveled extensively in South America, where she developed a profound interest in environmental and social justice issues.  She was the founder and CEO of WOW Argentina, a travel company that specialized in tailor-made signature vacation packages and that was listed in highly respected Lonely Planet and Fodor’s guidebooks.

Cintia’s restless curiosity and passion for making a positive difference in the world have led her to explore a variety of fields. Whether it was working for the State of Florida at the Public Defender’s Office or teaching English to immigrants and refugees in underprivileged communities, she has touched many lives. 

Cintia is an International Baccalaureate (IB) alumna and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in sustainability management from St. Petersburg College, where she graduated summa cum laude. While in college, she was vice president of the SPC Net Impact Chapter, a position that allowed her to apply her leadership skills to engage students in environmental, equity, and community engagement initiatives. Cintia holds several sustainability credentials as well as two ESOL teaching certifications. Additionally, she serves as an advisory member of the UF/IFAS Extension Sustainable Living Program in Pinellas County.
