Margie-DACA Renewal process March 2015        Mentors

“Volunteers are not paid not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless”

The heart of any nonprofit organization is found in its volunteers and UnidosNow has been extremely lucky to find passionate, committed individuals willing to share their time and talent with our community. Without our volunteers we couldn’t do any of our work. Can we count on you to help and support your local community? If so,

How YOU Can Help

Become a Mentor

Our mentors are invaluable to the growth of our Future Leaders Academy students. In addition to receiving guidance for the college application process, our scholars will learn from some of the area’s most influential academic, business, and civic leaders.

Volunteer at WUDN Radio

Do you have an idea for a radio show to educate and/or entertain our community? Do you want to be a sound engineer? UnidosNow is building Sarasota-Manatee’s first Spanish Community Radio and we are going to need as many hands as possible.

Become a Partner

Our partners believe in UnidosNow’s mission and vision to create a better, stronger community, and they support the programming that speaks to them the most.

Volunteer at the Office

Office personnel enjoy interacting with our community over the phone and at our offices volunteering at our front desk, taking messages, referring our clients, and doing small administrative tasks.

Community Service Credits

High school and college students can fulfill their community service hours volunteering at UnidosNow in any of these roles.

UnidosNow is always looking for driven and compassionate interns to work with our Dream Team. Interns may be eligible for college credit. Interns will have very specific projects such as:

  • Creating a scholarship database
  • Educating families on the Deferred Action
  • Designing ACT Prep Course
  • Many other exciting opportunities that interest you
