Karla Trejo

College Coach

Karla Trejo is a recent Florida Gulf Coast University Alumna, graduating in May 2024 with her Bachelor of Art in Communication with a concentration in Communication Studies.Karla graduated from Palmetto High School with her AICE diploma and is a FLA alumna. 

Throughout undergrad, she had been heavily involved on campus in various student organizations and campus departments, all of which allowed her to develop in her leadership style. As a first-generation college student, this role as College Coach Intern will allow her to learn from the College Coaches as well as their mentees. She strongly believes in ensuring education is equitable for all individuals and hopes to be a support system in the organization that assisted in seeing her college dreams come true.

When she isn't working, Karla enjoys playing games on her IPad, going to workout classes, spending quality time with family, and listening to music!
