Parent University at Alta Vista

UnidosNow and our team are really grateful to be able to work collaboratively with Alta Vista Elementary School this summer.

This is a great example on how an organization can support the efforts of the school district and great initiatives like the Parent University at Alta Vista. 

UnidosNow is providing a series of workshops about the basics of the college admission process and the steps necessary that the family needs to be involved from elementary school. This includes learning more about their schools and the resources offered for their children’s education, the different types of colleges and how to secure financial aid to pay for college.

These workshops are offered for Alta Vista families and Sarasota county families.
